A totally unique 2016 Ektimo Alexander Valley "Limited Edition" Cabernet Sauvignon.  Less than a hundred cases of this wine were produced.

Subtle dark stone fruit aromas of plum and cassis imply subtlety, but this wine delivers fully on the palate.  A lively mosaic of flavors explodes with wild raspberry, redcurrant, tart cherry and red delicious apple that are bright and elegant, highlighted with a wisp of cedar and the silkiest tannins.  It finishes dry yet enticing and will keep luring you back for one more sip of this seductive nectar, take a sip of this liquid love!  It is already quite approachable, yet time will be its friend, and expect further development in the coming years.  Will it become better?  That is always a very subjective question, and my response remains the same.  Some will love it just the way it is, and some may prefer a little more time.  The only real way to know is to keep revisiting it whenever you are in the mood.
